Ya i live in the Metro..
I think its soo sad! We rely on school being a safe place where we can get an education, and when something like that happens, it really makes you feel unsafe...

Is that the case where a school kid killed his grandparents before hand?
Or is this a different case?

I live in Australia, and when I heard about it I was completely stunned! How can a child have so little respect for people? And become a MURDERER.
I know only little facts of the story, but I know it is not the first time.
Anyone seen "Bowling for C------?" (I ALWAYS forget what the 'c' is) that Mike Moore directed? That also stunned me; America is so strict, yet all these occurances keep happening. A child in his primary school years got suspended for pointing a CHICKEN WING at another student.

Ok, I kind of got off the subject; but I think that the US needs to try and re-enforce the no-guns policy- so many kids have killed others with guns at school. Which should be 'safe'. A school usually is 'safe'.

Sorry if I have facts wrong- I am merely an outsider stating my own opinion. Which is, worthless in this case.

Wow. That's a lot! I only remember one or two shootings ever in Melbourne... one was at a college, a guy shot a few of his collegues (from memory).

I didn't think you could bring guns to school. But don't they have those metal detecter things? That buzz if someone has a gun?

I think the Government should put them in instead- the school shouldn't have to pay. It would be for the safety of its pupils, and may help prevent any future incidents like the Redlake Shooting.

Yeah true... but I'm sure he could get his 'buddy' John Howard (autralia's prime Minister) to lend money, seeing as they are so close in alliance.

George Bush should focus on some of the issues that are of importance; he should be thinking and pondering of ways to help the situation. Even if he's in debt, he could negotiate and figure out ways to make it safe for pupils to attend school without getting there heads blown off .

I know. Same here. I think he was out for revenge, it was said that he was 'teased', well, I think he was temporarily insane when he commited all the killings.

It could of been a split secound decision. It may of not been planned. He saw an opportunity, and went for it.
That's when the temporary insanity comes in. He could've been planning it all, and been insane all along... but he may of not been.
That's all I meant by it.

    lol, fair enough then.
There was a movie about the kkk and black rights... I don't remember what it was called but it starred Matthew McConaughey.
Well, one of the characters killed a man for raping his daughter. That was said as 'temporary insanity".
So this guy could've had some boiled up anger or grief, and killed people out of insanity- it could be temporary or long lived.
The guy was known as a non social, pro-hitler person. He has different views; maybe he wasn't insane, but everything he had gone through (being teased) had finally caught up on him.

I do not think what he did was right- hell no! I am just giving a reason to why he might of done such a terrible deed.

lol! Well, not really... I have been trying to increase my knowledge lately, though.

And you're pretty smart yourself- it was great conversing with you- especially over such an important issue.

    lol, well thanks :-)!
It was nice talking to you- but now I gotta go. I'm going to the movies with my mum (she is extremely bored, looking through old photo albums :-|).
I'll talk to you later. And next time I am on the net I will make a note to check out any poems you've written.
