this is just my opinion but anti-depressents to MAKE you feel happy they just help you stay happy i was afraid to ask for meds too but i did and i found out that they do wonders they didn't make me feel happy. also if the whole group therapy thing makes you happy see if you can get a session more often. because for me when i do something that makes me happy the meds help me stay that way and not fall back into my depressive state. everyone can be helped, it just might take a while to find out how or who is going to help you. if you every need/want to talk anytime day or night just email me at miss_invisible179@hotmail.com i check my email everyday and if you have MSN dont be afraid to add me. i'll always be around if you need someone to talk to |

It's a common thought but with time and help you will realise that you do want to be helped. Just remember that, and try to be strong as much as possible. If you want meds then ask, don't be afraid. Depression runs in my family too, so i know what it's like, but in my family no one gets help for it, and so there has been a few suicides, and all is bad. Things will get better, keep going to group therapy if it helps and try and get away from negative things as much as you can. Try to stop cutting, it's hard but i've stopped, haven't cut in at least a month. You can do it too. Good luck, |
