Advice on Kissing! lol

hey every1,
lol, i know it's a stupid topic, but I think this guy I like might kiss me, and it'd be my first real kiss. is there anything I shouldn't or should do? It's just I've heard some real horror stories of first kisses, lol, and I want to remember it and not cringe.:P

i wish all the lads i kissed wudn't just go straight in for snogging. I like it wen they sort stand there and look at me for while and do the leaning on the forehead thing then start kising slowly and gently.

What I wanna know about kissing is : How do you breath? Do you stand or sit or lie? When is it time to stop? When is the right time to do it?
