you write about what ever you want. it's what you feel, so you love him, then sure go express how much you love him through poetry

Depends. Do you write because you want to release your emotions, or to improve and become a GREAT poet?

What kind of question is that? You write for both of those things.

write what you feel strongly about, if in your case it is love, then there is no problem. But if you write them just to fit a theme, then it is bad. Poems are best when they come from the heart, when you put emotion behind them.

You should write about whatever you feel, so if that's what is on your mind, then write about it. However, you should be careful to keep all your poems from sounding the same or they might be ignored.

this is not bad. Because when you write poetry you should write about sumthing you feel strongly about and if you like this guy and it comes from within then say whatever you want. Thats the beauty of writing you can say whatever you want.

It's not bad to write about loving a guy, if that's what you feel. I write a lot of poems about a guy I love too, but I try to keep them different each time. Just make sure each poem is different in a way, otherwise it's just like writing the same thing over and over again. I hope this helped in any way.
