is it a crime to write a poem about someone you love?

is it? cause i wrote alot of poems about my ex-gf... and how much i miss her... but she thinks am a freak and crazy person... just cause i wrote so many crappy poems about her... so i thought to myself? is it a crime to show the world of how much i feel about my ex-gf? and is it a crime to write about a poem about my ex-gf?

Its not a crime to write about someone you love. I have a poem that I wrote and most people wish they had one writen about them. I guess it all depends on the person. I don't think its a crime.

no its not a crime if you write poems about people that you love. whether or not if they are exes or watever its never a crime to write how you feel about someone or sumthing. trust me i know from expirence that its not a crime but sometimes if you reread your poems it can make you sad or sumthing. so i say write wats on your mind. you know that it is called freedom of speech. Steven, I know how ya feel, I broke up with my ex, and wrote about 12-13 poems about hom much I love her, the only difference is she found mine, and read em without me knowing, and then freaked out and said I was a maniac. So don't feel bad your not the only one in the world whos had that happen

... gee i could just only cry... cause the poems i write are sad and depressing... haha.. the more i write poems the more my life get crappy... haha recently i been having crappy stuff in life.. cause a girl thinks she cause me pain... but she doesn't ... but she keeps pushing that crap at me... telling me that she believe that she cause me pains...haha i just want to write a poem about it... but am fear it might make things worst... so i could only just sit alone and just cry... cause i really just don't know what to do? and i really love this girl

Why would it be.You love them and you need to get your emotions out somehow.I write poems like that all the time.

no it's not.
I do the same thing with my ex...course THOSE poems are rather evily inclined toward him since he was an ass.

but still I write about my ex all the time becuase it's easier for me to write out my emotions in poetry then talk about them. I also write alot about the guy I'm starting to fall for now and how I'm afraid he'll reject me or how amazing he makes me feel.

but yea..it's DEF fine to write poems about someone you're still having feelings for, it can actually help getting over them eventually.
