are you scared to love?

are you too scared to love.. if so why?

because it shows weakness.. it controls your life and youd do anything fot that person and if you were to then loose that person it tears you apart

ye i agree but what are the chances of finding real love.. is there really a soul mate out there for all of us or just the lucky ones!

Sometimes I am scared to love. I'm scared to show my feelings a lot. Often when I feel deeply for someone I hide it, hoping they will make the first move. I'm scared of spilling my heart out to someone and having them reject it. I couldn't take it.

Nat the dreamer...I so agree with u.....Last year in summer I started liking my best friends brother...for some reason it didnt feel rite but...it seem like i was scared...I guess like Nat the dreamer said I'm scared of spilling my heart out to someone and having them reject it...but hey we cant help falling in love with some1...I rather say I like someone than reject that i dont like him.

I'm scared to fall in love because everytime things get serious, I think I'm in love and then they break my heart. Every time.

My last BF I know I actually did love but, he hurt me so much that I just wanted to crawl into a hole and die. Well actually, it felt like I had died.

Now I'm sort of crushing on this other guy (my first time in about a year and a half) and I'm scared he's going to hurt me. I'm always afraid. Love is a blessing and love is a curse in many ways.

I was scared to love after my first serious boyfriend used me for sex...which i didn't give him...which i think is why i got dumped...but i was seriously in to him & then i met my present boyfriend :-) but i was so scared he was gonna hurt me, but he hasn't yet and its been over 1 year!! :-) im so happy with him!!
I used to think i wudnt be able to get a boyfriend, i used to think i was the ugliest thing living...but now iv realized if I can get a boyfriend theres hope for everybody else!!! Good luck :-) xxx

ok then what if you think it is the person for you but it is just an illusion and the real one for you is till out there..

why would you be afraid of love? Love is the most amazing thing that can happen to you. It gives you an incredible gift and let's you see things no one else can. who could be afraid of something like that. I guess you could argue that your love could not be returned but you do not love someone under the condition that they will love you back.

Damn straight.. well not with the rejection fetish lol. I tend to get into relationships and either back out or let them dump me.

i usd 2 be like that but now im settling down at first i did try push him away quite alot but he wouldnt let me which showed he really did care

I use to be to scared to love again. If you are really in love with someone, and you get hurt, you get really scared of it. I am now trying to learn to love again. I do love Doug, but still am very cautious, and question so many things that probally should be very obvious to me.
Love wounds heal, just like all wounds, and they also leave a scar. but in time the scar fades.

I'm scared of rejection but i USED to be scared of love too, Ive been with my bf for 10 months now, and at first i was just waiting for him to leave me like all the others had before, but i was blessed and he didnt.
Also he came along at the time i was not actually wanting a boyfriend, so who ever said love will find you is a very wise person.
Now I'm scared not to show my love and emotions, life is short and we should make the most of each day. I would hate for something to happen and never let someone know how much i really love them.
