you sound a lot like me. im always thinking about cutting too and sometimes i think theres something wrong with me. but im able to convince myself that this is truly me and truly who i am. now im just trying to ride it out and do whatever i can to make things better and just keep up hope. i suggest doing things that distract you from cutting. talk to friends, write poetry, draw, paint, do sports. i especially suggest a sport like boxing, it helps you get out a alot of emotion. if you cant do that, i dont either, but instead of replacing crying with cutting, i try to do another sport like that like fencing or one of the things i mentiooned already. my best advice is to talk to people and find ways to get all that emotion out besides cutting. im always here if you need to talk. |
