love is what you make it...its different for everybody. yeah it's great half the time and hell the other half...but remember you can be hurt by the person, but not by love itself, so its just a matter of finding the person who won't make love like that for you. and i agree w/ Luce, addiction have a lil more faith...and matt you're right.

LOve is painful if it is unrequited.

I can love my friends, my family, my boyfriend, colours, sounds, songs, films and everything else that makes me smile. Loving people - I would do anything for them, hold their hair back when they vomit, wipe their nose when they have a cold, be sad when they are, be the clown when they need me to be, be fiercely protective but let them go when I have to and always listne even when I have news too. But I can only ever be in love with one and I will be in love with him for the rest of my life. I start everyday with thoughts of him, if I see someone with dark hair or eyes I think about him. If I see the colour or the make of car that he drives it makes me remember how he touched my face and told me it was me forever. I can follow someone around all day that wears his aftershave (in the non stalker kind of sense) just to feel like I'm close to him. It's been a while now since I saw him and I know he isn't coming back and I'm in no position to have him anymore anyway. But he is my definition of love because he is forever in my thoughts xx (and off to cheer the f**k up now lol)

Love is wanting to spend all your time with that person, looking forward to seeing them, and wanting to treat them absolutly perfect.

love is what happens when you care about someone with every atom of your being and don't even realize it until it's too late. It's a matter of trying to find that one person to balance out the pain and gentleness of the world while still having a sense of who you are.
Love is pain becuase no matter what happens- whether you find your supposed soulmate or not- in the end we all part with the one who can complete us through death.

A lot of people say Love is painful....TRUE love is not painful...thats why true love is so rare to find....and you'll know when you find your true love

why dont we just say love is unexplainable

and the reason True love is not painful is because...if you know you found your true love... and they are going out with somone and dont wanna go out with you...IF they're happy youll be happy too...

sentimental memories and a warm embrace

Love is a painful thing, yet everyone always falls for someone else in their own lifetime and no matter whom you fall in love with you will eventually get hurt.
But if you love someone every time you see them your heart stops.
Every time you think about them your stomach gets butterflies.
Every time you see them glance over in your direction you just melt and
when they come over to you to talk all you can do is smile no matter how down you may feel that certain day,
no matter what has happened to you earlier on and the second they turn and walk away from you just want to die.
You ache when you are not with them and can just imaging kissing them every chance you get.
Love comes in the strangest forms with the strangest people, some times even when you don’t want to fall in love you do and when you do it is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
