Not THAT important but--- discussion attached to pieces

  • pinkalias

Ummm I was just thinking about this, and alot of you will think it's an idiotic suggestion, but whatever.
    I think that there should be a conversation forum-like attachment to people's poems where members can ask the author questions about their piece, and they can discuss symbols, meaning, tone, atmoshpere, etc;

I know people CAN discuss those things in the comments if they wanted to, but personally I hate having conversations in comments. They would take much too much room and would defeat the purpose of praise and critisizm if we had convo's filling them up.

I also know that people can discuss the poems through email, but I think it'd be interesting to view the conversations and observe the interpretations and discussions other people had had on the piece.

So yea I guess it's not crucial, I just thought it'd be interesting to discuss authors' poetry with them. (if they choose to)

You can do that in the Poetry Talk section of the forums. :)

    ....o
    hhaahahaha...(sigh)

ok, nevermind. guess I should explore the whole site before making suggestions, huh?

    Ok, lock/delete wtv with this.

  • Andriana

    Haha, it's okay.

  • Pianist

    Tyrel: What the hell?

Nobody asked you what lock or delete meant. I'm sure pinkalias already knew that moderators have the power to do both. I'm also sure she knew that delete means it is gone, and lock means you can no longer post on the topic.

Why the hell did you even comment?

  • pinkalias

    hahaha
    right on Nobody, riiiight onnnn

  • Pianist

    Tyrel: You dumb ass!

Pinkalias (who by the way is a girl) was suggesting to the moderators to lock or delete this post, because she realized she made a mistake.

    "Ok, lock/delete wtv with this(((.)))"

You do know the difference between a period and a question mark don't you? Or is it too complicated for you?

  • Pianist

    No question was implied.

There was nothing for you to answer.

I suggest you read everything very (and in your case "very") carefully before you respond.

  • pinkalias

    hahahahhahahahaha

ooo i never thought this post would become so incredibly entertaining.

yes Tyrel, Nobody has explained my statement perfectly.

And I'm glad you noticed I am indeed a FEmale

  • Pianist

    Yes I know...

It took me forever to find out that you indeed were a female...

I had to click on your profile and everything... Where I spent numerous hours trying to find "sex," when I realized that gender means the same thing.

    How unintelligent of me...

Nobody is trying to take the place of Mr Plain I have noticed on several threads LOL Mr Plain can't be replaced or mimiced though - its kinda funny...

Ahhh Pink you are so cute I think your question has been answered hun :o)

  • Kaitlin Kristina

Considering his name is "Nobody," I dont think he needs to find his own anything.

    -K. Kristina

  • Eibutsina

Oh Kaitlin you've changed your screen name :o)
Glad we got that outta the way

I still think Im right tho perhaps nobody IS Mr Plain - I mean he has done stranger things? LoL

  • pinkalias

Hey, the more "mr. plains" ( to me) the better. And honestly, Nobody doesn't add severe comments or critisizm unless it calls for it (and it's always fantastically stated I might add)
**Nobody: took me a while to figure out what gender was too. maybe we should both spend more time reading the dictionary

Yess Erisa it was a stupid ques... I should have actually explored the site more before asking it lol

  • Pianist

    Eirisa and Louisa: HAHAHA

You two are only making that assumption because you were offended by the comments I have given you on previous posts...

Louisa: Honestly... who are you to judge one's personality?

Could you not rather spend time gaining a personality of your own, instead of categorizing mine?

    Eirisa: HAHAHA

I can assure you I am not JPM. I don't know if I should take that remark as a compliment, or as an insult.

  • Pianist

It would be quite hilarious if I was though...

Imagine JPM arguing with himself.... how great would that be?

  • Pianist

And if I posted my true name would you be more offended? I would still be unknown to you no matter what my name is.

I suggest you spend more time posting on important subjects, instead of having this fruitless conversation about myself...

  • pinkalias

That comment about Nobody's name, was just stupid.
Look, people create member names for whatever reason. Symbolism, irony, humour, whatever. to try to use their member name to insult them, is pointless.

  • Eibutsina

    Nobody

What comment did you offend me with on another post? I accept others points of view darling I don't hate on them and they certainly don't offend me so do stop flattering yourself

Louisa and I are merely judging the personality you have portrayed on your account with in the forums and its just extremely similar to Mr Plains - your problem not ours...Louisa does have a personality of her own your comments just sound very simliar and like minded to Mr Plains - perhaps you guys are peas in a pod - who knows? LoL :o)

Oh please don't take it as an insult from me - maybe from other members but I have nothing against Mr Plain - I mean he used to annoy me but Im over it he actually has alot of validity in his words when he takes the time to not be so damn rude, plus his arrogance is such valuable cheap entertainment in my day :o)

  • Pianist

    Eirisa: As you said yourself:

"Louisa and I are merely judging the personality you have"

Please stop "judging" me at once. I can assure you we are not "peas in a pod."

JPM far excels me in knowledge and experience. To judge me on account with him is not only unfair to me, but unfair to him.

I am glad you are not offended by anything I have said to you in the past, but I was not flattering myself. I was only stating what I thought to be fact.

You see, many people on this site take a disliking to people who confirm what "dumb asses" they are. Though I should probably... "take the time to not be so damn rude" I often find myself lacking it. Most often members will try to outwit me on account of the fool I made them seem to others.

Merely stating what I thought to be your situation in all this matter. Just as you were "merely stating" my likeness to JPM.

  • Eibutsina

    Eirisa: As you said yourself:

"Louisa and I are merely judging the personality you have"

**You have portrayed, and portrayed such an unoriginal personality at that**

Please stop "judging" me at once. I can assure you we are not "peas in a pod."

**You're not well it seems to me your trying to be. And I will judge you when you say stupid things, don't say stupid things and I won't judge you**

JPM far excels me in knowledge and experience. To judge me on account with him is not only unfair to me, but unfair to him.

** Hey while your licking his balls stick your tongue up his ass - he likes that LMAO**

I am glad you are not offended by anything I have said to you in the past, but I was not flattering myself. I was only stating what I thought to be fact.

**Yeah Nobody I have agreed with what you have stated in many and I mean many other posts, again we can agree on something, just like you I am stating what I think to be fact. But since its what I think, and as you have admitted what you think NOT what either of us know as fact aren't both of us passing judgment and opinion on the matter. Fact is fact, and everything else falls under perspectives, theories, judgements etc. But at least I admit it :o) **

You see, many people on this site take a disliking to people who confirm what "dumb asses" they are. Though I should probably... "take the time to not be so damn rude" I often find myself lacking it. Most often members will try to outwit me on account of the fool I made them seem to others.

**What the for starters speak for yourself not everyone within PNQ. I love the dumb asses cheap entertainment they are. You probably should take the time to not be so rude hun because it is that rudeness you portray that is so alike Mr Plain - I thought one of him was bad enough! Hes grown on me through time though...LOL
Most often members will try to outwit you on the account of the fool you make them seem to others - well well well that was egotistical if I have ever heard it. Again speak for yourself YOU might think YOU make them look like fools when in reallity THEY and EVERYBODY does nto interpret it that way...In my eyes the only person you can make look like a fool is yourself...**

Merely stating what I thought to be your situation in all this matter. Just as you were "merely stating" my likeness to JPM.

**Well its true love and why just me? - other members have agreed with my statement in claiming your likeness to Mr Plain**

    Much Luv

    Still not giving a F*ck....:o)

...why do you keep comparing him to JPM, why does anyone care about JPM, why is anyone thinking about JPM
    stop
    effing
    talking
    about
    JPM

It's getting old, boring, repetitive, and I seriously don't care.
    shut up.

    Anyway,

"In my eyes the only person you can make look like a fool is yourself...**"

Actually I don't agree with that considering Nobody has made plenty of people look like "fools" (if they had no already themselves) and the rudeness in my opinion is asked for in all his comments, and it's best used because it's what were all thinking. the only reason other people aren't so rude is because they don't want to be hated and have people rate their poems 1's...

  • Kaitlin Kristina

I think anyone with half a brain is quite adept at making 75% of the people on these forums look like fools.

Nobody and JPM are not the only ones credited with that accomplishment, but lets take a closer look at ourselves and ask why we would want to be praising the action as if it were something to be proud of.

The goal should be to be honest and constructive, not blatantly make each other look like fools, no matter how easy we may make it.

Although I dont see a huge problem with pointing out ignorance or idiocy, it makes people grow.

  • pinkalias

Kaitlin: very good, and very mature, point.

I however praise it because hardly anyone has the guts to say these things to these morons.

and, I'm not a very mature person when it comes to making other people look like "fools"
So you can see the kick i get outof it:)

  • Kaitlin Kristina

I'll admit I get a kick out of it too, but I refrain from making someone look like a fool without purpose.

  • Eibutsina

Im just still laughing at this...

JPM - See I know you better than I thought :o)

    Nothing like a good disagreement

Nobody I'm really over disagreeing and agreeing with you to extremes - thanks for stimulating my thought :o) I hope we can move on from here

  • Pianist

yes yes... sorry for the delay...

Eirisa: I agree that I should only speak for myself... again I pass judgement upon others where I shouldn't... BUT... they would not feel the need to have such outbursts if they weren't offended would they?

To everyone else: Sometimes it is necessary to make one look as if to be a fool.

What do you remember most in your life, average, everday things, or embarrassing moments? Where you are portrayed as a fool?

    Most commonly the latter...

So... in effect to make one remember the (in some senses) wrong they have done, you must make is very rememberable for them.

  • Eibutsina

We all do Nobody - Much love and keep standing up hun I love that you don't back down :O)

  • Kaitlin Kristina

    Nobody:

    It should be:

    "Most commonly the latter."

    Not "later."

If I call you a fool for not knowing that, will you remember how to spell it next time? I'm all for positive development.

    Just a thought.

  • pinkalias

hmm see I too love correcting spelling errors, but I think what Nobody is referring to about portraying someone as a "fool" is when they ask a completely idiotic question such as...

"my best friend told me she likes my boyfriend, and omg I don't know what to do! someone please help me, I'm so lost..."

Well anyway I think that was a pointless discussion topic. Also,

"omg how can you say she didn't commit suicide!!!??? i know for a FACT SHE didn't commit suicide!!!!!! you lying jackass how could you say that?!?!!?!!??"

(note: this girl never met the person who supposedly "commited suicide", had no tangible proof, and the suicidal ended up being a faker)

These are times when you can just call someone an idiotic 13-year old thinker who knows shit and talks shit.

    tata

  • Kaitlin Kristina

That's totally seperate from this 100% truthful and poignant statement:

"What do you remember most in your life, average, everday things, or embarrassing moments? Where you are portrayed as a fool?

    Most commonly the later...

So... in effect to make one remember the (in some senses) wrong they have done, you must make is very rememberable for them."

Regardless of the level of idiocy that is being portrayed by the person, you can impress anything upon them by making them a fool.

  • Pianist

I most certainly will remember how to spell it next time....

You have proved me right by using my own theory...
