This is so sad. Though I am not of the Catholic religion, I truly feel that this is a sad day for the world in general.

I hate to see John Pual II pass away, but I am glad that he no longer suffers and has joined our maker (or what ever you choose to believe as GOD). At long last his suffering has ended and now he has eternal peace.

We have lost a great role model that everyone should have been pround to have wittnessed in their life. I for one am proud that I was able to wittness The Pope's works, even if only through the media.

At last, my grandmother who has always looked toward The Pope (she was of the Catholic family) will finally meet him. For she passed away in October and faced her death bravely like John Paul II.

May they both rest in peace and have spiratual blessing in Heaven with our Holy Father for eternity.

tyrel you have lost your mind. Do you know how respected that 84 year old man was? More respected then you will be when you are 84.

I'm not even a catholic and yet its a very sad day in history. At least he made history as being the equal to god on earth. Because thats what the pope represents.

you represent nothing but a childish teenager who does not know much about religion, faith, or any other thing equal to those.

Besides from what the pope had wrote in the past upon his passing would be A Dawn of New Millenium. Which effects everyone, because in the Dawn of a New Millenium there will be great changes.

wow tyrel, do u even know who he was? who cares if he was 130 or 18, he was looked upon by millions and millions of people. so "nobody cares" is actually one of the stupidest things u could say. bcuz millions and millions of people care, even if u dont.

Sure it's sad that he died, but, not to sound uncaring, it is about time that he did die. The man has been suffering and has been kept alive for so long now, that it's probably better off that he is dead. I mean he could not lift up his head or even speak comprehensibly by the end. It's sad that he is dead because so many looked up to him, but really it's probably better off. (personally I don't care for the pope, but out of respect for those that do, I will keep those comments to myself)
