Everyone does one thing in life; die.

JPII did about everything a man could before that happened.

I'm not a Catholic but I appreciate what he has done. I wonder if the next Pope will be as good.

i really don't care that he died.
it's sad that somebody died but it really doesnt matter to me that he was the pope, who cares? Well obviously you guys but i don't, it's sad that somebody died but i really don't care. Bag me out all you want and tell me how good he was but i never really like heard anything he's done but then i'm just an athiest ... Sorry for sending this but i just had to get it out of me. Sorry

The poor man, he was so ill for so long, Im glad he is at peace although it is very sad that he died.

I don't really care that he died. He was a respected figure in society. My Catholic parents/family loves him and they are all mourning his death, but I do not understand. Someone holy would replace him.

Yeah, it really upset me. I saw him when I was little (i guess I was about six or younger) and when I heard he was dying, I felt awful. I'm not a very active catholic so, I didn't know all of the great things he had done until I heard it on the news last night. I just felt the tears stream down as I watched all of the incredible things he's managed to do... for me it wasn't just "oh wow he was a good pope" but, he was an incredible human being. I'm just glad he's not in pain any longer and he's finally gone to heaven to have his long deserved rest.
