Hey, No I've never gotten beat before... but I've had friends who have. I dont even want to think about the pain you are in, but I do know that you HAVE to go tell someone! an adult!! You cant live liek that, its Wrong and illegal!!

No, I do not. But sometimes I feel like I get verbally abused. My mother is constantly yelling at me for nothing. When I do not understand something, and I tell my father, he yells at me because he says I'm stupid for not understanding. But then there are moments when they are so, very kind, but I still hate them..

I wish I lived closer to you so I could help, but I dont... Try talking to someone, at school or at a friends house. someone will CARE!! I promiss!! just get out of there, they shouldn't do this! its not right! BUT STAY STRONG AND DO NOT HARM YOURSELF!!

That seems to be the way - and i can fully understand where you are coming from. It is not as easy as people think to just walk away or talk to some friends.

poor kid... I'm so sorry... I got beat as a little kid, up until I was three... my mom got beat worse, tho. My real dad was an alcoholic. One day, he decided e wanted my mom to leave. actually, he made a list one day, of what my mom should get and what he gets. My mom only had three things on her list... my brother, the china cabinet, and me... My dad didn't even want me. I haven't ever met him since, thank God, but i have a scar on my forehead from him throwing a chair once. Please hang in there, Jamaal. Is there anything I can do?We all care for you here...

I don't know if confronting his parents would be wise. I mean, think about it. If it is legal for them to beat him there, and he asks them to stop, do you really think they will? I mean, truly, I doubt that if they are inconsiderate enough to hurt their own son, that they will be considerate enough to listen. I guess it might be worth a shot, but... I don't know. Keep your head up, Jamaal, I know times are rough, but you have to keep on keepin on. You have to work with what you've got, and someday things will work out for the best. Hey, now, I disagree with JustPlainMe. I honestly doubt that Jamaal is making this up, and I think you shouldn't be so rude. It is... terrible that you would say he's whining. Somehow, I get the feeling you have NEVER been beat. True, you end up sucking it up, but this is not whining. This is looking for someone to care, for a little compassion. don't feel alone... i get beat everyday now. My dad just moved back in with my mom and i and i he had walked out on us. He's only been back for a little more than a week... and i just wish he would go away. I even wrote a poem for him (you can read it, its called "Daddy Please Stop"). Yeah, i actually gave that poem to him to read and that was just stupid of me because he beat me harder. I'm covered in bruises. It just sucks i can't tell my mom because i'm afraid that if she confronts him about it then she'll get beaten also.

Don't worry jamaal i'm here for you. I know how this feels. My parents used to beat me from birth. My mum kicked me down the stairs at 8 weeks old (this aint bull****!) My case with social services was so bad that they can't let me see some stuff that happened even though i am an adult and remember most of it from being around 3 years old. I really feel for you as i dont think anyone deserves this! No it's sick!!!! I was malnutritioned also and i have been told that no matter what i eat i will always be thin and i am always ill. JPM have a heart! That poor lad! I mean how can you say you would beat your son. I would never hurt my children - never! And dont critcise me because i am not playing a silly game with you.
I dont feel sorry for what has happened to me but i dont like to see others go through it.

You know, JPM, as much as I've heard you say you "don't care" and "don't want to hear this f***ing whining," it surprises me that you would go out of your way to look it up. Where is this post going JPM? I thought were were trying to help this poor lad??? I know alot about people who help children with child abuse that are not social services. These are uk ones - childline, Nspcc, kidscape,you can even talk to samaritans. Theres loads but not sure - have to look. They are all voluntary services - not by the government. :)

If yes i am glad you are not my children's father as i got tortured by my parents and i don't think it made me stronger, it made me frightened of alot of things.
