Nobody: I agree that things have truly gotten out of hand there. I sure hope the moderators take a look at it. Thanks for stepping up and letting them know that shows true maturity!

Let's just say he said a few "naughty" words to a suicidal person...

Thank you for locking it Ann!

I think some people should mature a bit before discovering this site.

    Nobody I tend to agree

Except with the maturity thing - it is the different cultures, levels of maturity and types of people within PNQ that make it what it is...the post your specifying about your 100% correct - grow up but in general terms I think its great to have more mature people and less mature people on this site, we all have something we can learn from each other regardless of what level we stand on in the maturity stakes :o)

I too Thankyou Ann for locking it :o)

Eirisa: You misunderstood my use of maturity...

If you would look back I said:

"I think some people should mature a bit before discovering this site."

"Bit" being the keyword in this sentence...

I realize not everyone can be mature to the same extent... BUT.... you have to have a certain level of maturity to have a civilized conversation with anyone...

Thomas's post was clearly intended to harm (not withholding from profanity I might add).

Though I am not one to speak of profanity, for I myself have not held my tongue many times... Thomas's post was unmistakably meant to damage.

When I spoke of maturity I was referencing to him. He obviously does not have the maturity to withhold his crude comments plainly directed at someone.

Not only did he fail to refrain from this, but he also started a post in direct correlation with this girl.

I find most posts to be a waste of space and time, but to so obviously point out a member of this sight and disrespect them, is (in my opinion) the lowest sense of maturity one may qualify for.

I think we should all calm down. This idiotic post is no indication that things in this website have gotten out of hand, or that the moderators can't hack it anymore. It's just the attention seeking actions of one individual who was unfortunately paid the attention he desired and so continued his behaviour.

I'd like, as a moderator to be able to do more about this, but as it happens, all we can do is lock or delete the thread..which really does nothing to curb anyones behaviour.

**No I didn't misunderstand your use of maturity Nobody, I know exactly what you meant - it just provoked another thought in my head and I ran with it - Sorry if I made you think you weren't understood though.

I have agreed with you in relation to the topic of the post at hand - so will not care to repeat.

I agree with everything else you have also said in your response Nobody and like you I keep an eye out for such posts - and report them.

You keep up the good work...glad we can see eye to eye on something - Im not as bad as you think you know :o)

Nobody and I are just trying to establish some common ground - its stimulating having these discussions with Nobody (he/she??) For me anyways. Nobody has widened my perspectives on a few issues, and we have had some great disagreements. I'm not taking it personally and I hope Nobody isn't either....

(In relation to the above two posts :o)

Man, I love the fact that a 15 yr old is teaching us all about maturity...and I agree with what Nobody said too...there is way too much compaining around here...regards, TS

But Tommy theres complaining everywhere maturity levels and numerical ages aside...see I for one thought the complaining and crap would end after high school - I was wrong cause College was just as bad if not worse, and in a workplace you have no idea - if you think school was bad wait until money and wages come into in the work place. People will always complain- I think we need to accept that. Its whether you let that complaining affect you personally which is important :o)

**ANN MARIE THE LOCK MASTERER LoL** Go for it hun !!!
