Why Do People Want To Live Life?

ive started to wonder...why do people want to live? if there is an after life thats better, why stay at all? like if someone has no family or friends or anyone, what keeps them going? why even try? i wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this, because lately its sort of interested me to see what other takes on this people have.

I want to live because its a gift from God. When he feels I no longer have a purpose here - my life will end. My belief is that your actions and outcomes here on earth determine the place you go afterwards, Im not too happy with my personal actions so hopefully I have time to rectify before that day comes for me...

I mean there is so many beautiful things about life, poetry and music, family and my sons, my partner, my lil sister, my girlfriends. Simple things which can bring the greatest pleasure if you take the time to make room for them in your life, helping others, children playing, the sunrise/sunset, the smell of fresh flowers or fresh rain.

So many things to appreciate if people would look past their own problems and insecurities to do so

Well see I don't believe in an after life, so living's pretty good to me.

it just comes back to your believes like some people say you'll go to hell if you kill yourself so they dont and other dont care or dont believe that.. or sumshit
anyways i stay alive because i have my neice which is like my daughter, she calles me mommy,
i figure if i left now it would fuck her up and i dont wanna do tht to here

Those are all questions that i have wondered before...and i dont have any answers for you...

maybe it is because of the pain that comes along with it?

The point of life is not to die but to live. It's to witness the love that everyone has for you and to experiance feeling and emotion... Life is what you make of it. Every one has a divine purpose, as Matt said, and you just have to find it and fly with it.
