What you should do is just be a friend, I wnet through that and thats all it took before, well, cutting was off my mind... I still think about it, but now that I have friends, it doesn't come to mind as much... Just be a friend and talk to her about it... Don't be so cautious... She's human, not something to beware of... Tell that guy I said good job too, its good that he made sure she stoped |

well i think that everyone should just help the gurl because if u just let her go she will just end up dead and when someone cuts it is a cry for help i should know i went through the same thing and it is not fun because u lose all of ur trust in someone who dose it i spent 2weeks in a hospital for it and i was in there with real crazy people one that needed help i was in there because i was running away from problems that i should of stood up to so just tell her that u know someone that she can talk to if she needs just let her know that u will always be there for her even if she is not ur friend and become friends with her cause it could be that she just needs someone to talk to and be a friend... cutting wont help !!! |

Like everyone else is saying, just ease your way in there and be her friend. That be all she needs. Someone to talk to, and to hold her when she cries. Someone she can run to when she wants to cut istead of her arm or her legs. Just offer her a friendship. Don't tell her that you want to talk to her about the cutting just yet. Start up a converstaion, and just take it from there. Just talking to her about random stuff could save her life. When she starts to show you some trust, start to hint towards the cutting and let her open up first. If you push her to hard, she'll lie and defend herself. You have to take things slowly. Not to slowly though. |

HEre's what u do... support her and don't judge her. Don't make her feel bad that she does this to cope. Just let her know that u are always there if she ever needs to talk... Good luck! ~Mandie |
