    Take out your frustrations in more positive ways

    -Boxing
    -Exercise
    -Screaming
    -Singing
    -Creative Arts - like painting, pottery, sculpture

    You'd be surprised at ice cream's healing qualities, lol. Girl, please don't cut, you have too much life ahead. Try gripping ice... HARD... next time you want to. It hurts, but it relieves the tension and leaves no scars. keep in there, babe...

    stop letting your life live you and live your life...as it was meant to be done...
    you wont have problems if you realize you are human and mistakes will happen...see things in a dualist veiw...see everything two ways instead of one...stop being so naive, and trusting...let yourself be yourself...stop thinking about the negative...and start thinking about how things could be if you make it throw life...

    hey i am a cutter too but i find writing in a notebook about what all happen that day helps or writing poems

    Before you cut yourself, just think about how much it hurts you... and then think about the one person who you love most and who loves you most, trust me you are hurting them more than yourself.
    When my boyfriend and I split up I found it difficult and started to cut myself, and he found out, he was so hurt that I would do such a thing.
    Now whenever I feel like that I just get on the phone to him and tell him all my worries, and eventually he makes them disappear.
    So find someone who you care about and tell them all your worries and problems, trust me, they will make them all turn into worthless thoughts.

    Haleigh, you know I am always here hon, always. You seem so distant lately, its really scaring me. Please try and talk to me hon, like you used to.     hey, the way i'm trying to stop cutting right now is by wearing a rubber band around my wrist. It's like therapy... whenever i feel the need to cut i just pull the rubber band and let it snap back on my wrist. You have to be careful not to do it too hard though because it could cut your skin... it hurts but i guess it's better than cutting.

    Plus, you've got to have the will to stop. Believe in yourself that it's possible for you to stop and you'd be surprised how easy it can be for you.

    i started cutting when i was 11....but what you can do is try new things and get yourself out there.thats what i'm doing he he i'm getting into a punk look and it's trippin!he he it's fun...well thats my opinion any who.

    What Tina said works hun, give it a try :) It helped me stop for 25 days, then I took it off in the shower and forgot to put it back on! Im trying again now though

    hey yeah da rubba band does work tho i endend up wif marks 4 a week from it wen i did it, but dont cut plz .

    I used to cut too...It seemed the only way out..But then i turned to writing poems, expressing my feelings in poems, rather than self abuse..Also try some sort of sport e.g boxing to take out your anger, it really helps. I hope this helps! =) x
