I know how you fell. I had a best friend in the third grade, Chantelle. She was just the coolest, and I trusted her with everything... Then, in the seventh grade, she moved upstate. We were still cool, kept in touch, but she got new friends... and slowly, she stopped calling, stopped emailing. Then she moved to Texas, which I am pretty sure has swallowed her whole since I haven't heard from her in two and a half years. Yeah, I miss her, she was a great person, but I got over losing her. As sad as it is, you have to keep your head up. Things might work out, and things might not... if they don't, don't hang your head. As hard as it will be, make new friends. I have, and they are wonderful. True, they can't ever fill her special place in your heart, but they can help you through the pain. If you ever need a friend, I'm here for you, k? Hang in there, babe!

Shyte, I'm sorry u lost ur best friend. I really know how bad it feels to lose a best friend. I've been through that and it hurts. But sometimes it takes to lose your best friend to really find your true best friend. I know if I wouldn't have lost my best friend I wouldn't have met the people I know and found my lil sis. So things will get better for you though at times you wonder why or wateva. But just hang in there and stay strong. Keep your head up hun. e-mail me if you want at cobra3fosho@yahoo.com or xbabylatina3@yahoo.com

I'm pretty sure that all of us have lost a best friend at least once in our lives.

I've lost a couple. So I know the pain and aggravation that comes from it.

I moved away from the first one, and then other one, well we just started fighting, and she turned into a different person and although I still loved her, she didn't love me and became best friends with the other person I considered to be my best friend.

It's hard, I know. But you have to move on and start to be friends with someone else. Call her, write her letters, send pictures, you can help stay in touch with her.
