i dont understand why people complain about people posting suicide posts, they obviously do it for a reason. Attention or not, they want their voice heard. Sure its some what pathetic for doing it on here but shouldnt we give them a chance to explain before we hound them...?

(i know im confusing and i once posted against it...but ive changed...my veiw on this...)

Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself

Yes, they obviously do it for a reason. Its called attention. They think in some twisted little way that everyone will like them and feel sorry for them because they are trying to commit suicide. If they were actually going to do it, they wouldn't post it all over the internet, they would just do it. No attempts, no cutting, just suicide.

Why would we give them a chance to explain that?

You know what I don't understand? Why these pathetic kids think that they need to make their own lives crap just to look cool, or get attention.

They're all depressed, all the time. I'm not saying they're faking it, I really don't think they are. They inflict it upon themselves, they could be happy people if they just got over the need to be depressed.

People who whine about cutting are selfish. They may say they have nothing, but everyone has something. They should be thankful for what they have and stop bitching.

how do you know its attention what if its a cry for help...and noones around to help them? so they come on here seeking advice and people like baby hound them...for seeking attention maybe that little bit of attention will help them...

those few people that care that they're here on this planet...helps them out alot...they can think that someone cares about them and wont push them away for being different...

Yes, actually I did read the first post, and I clearly stated my views on the subject.

I really think that some people who are suicidal deal with situations wrong. The suicide posts on this site is too high. People think its a kind of fad now. You know, dress in black and hate the world. I'm not saying they're bad people, just that they almost bring the situation on themselves. I'm sure there are other things in their life that are influencing their suicidal urges but really, its a frame of mind.

By the way, I've never hounded someone in a suicide post.

Ashley - Perhaps YOU didn't read my post very carefully.

Well, maybe they aren't complaining. You know, some people just have such hard lives that they think they can find people who will help cheer them up. I don't see why it's such a big deal. People are willing to give help, and people that need it ask for it. It's not an attention-seek all the time, you know? I don't understand why we just can't all CARE for eachother instead of accusing others of complaining. i know this must sound like a preach, but i think we should just help the people that need it. If you don't have help to give, don't put down the people that need help.

    Ashley, I hate explaining myself.

You ---> "There are a lot of people who genuinely feel like shit all the time. Possibly with depression. Which affects millions of people."

Me ---> "They're all depressed, all the time. I'm not saying they're faking it, I really don't think they are."

No where in my posts did I disagree with that statement. They were about how people could look on the bright side, or appreciate the good in life.
