Whenever I talk they freak out like it's a miracle or something. They talk about me when i'm right in front of them. People run into me all the time. It's like a tradition to hit me on the head with various things. Of my friends most of them backstab me and eachother too. I only have one friend who truly cares...I'm sick of bieng invisable. I'm sick of people always saying, "It's the quiet ones that you have to look out for." I'm tired of this...I have nothing to say to them...I only talk when spoken too, what's wrong with that? Beside's I have a speech problem and when I talk people always notice it and listen in, then later comment and spread rumors that the 'quiet girl' said this and that...Honestly, why am I so judged for having nothing to say? Or if I do have something to say it's insulting and i'd rather not insult someone I barely know...If you know what I mean.

There's something worse...we have to do a speech on monday in front of the class...it's bad...they'll laugh at my ridiculous crappy voice...or if i'm lucky they won't be able to understand what I say at all! lol...You're right about the stuck up snob part...They only talk to me to insult me or ask some stupid condescending question...Of course i'm not going to say something nice then, I mean honestly, common sense could tell you that!

i feel the same way. i never talk a lot to other people, but when im with my friends i do, but no one knows that. they never notice when im not there or recognize what i said when i do say something. i hate that feeling where you think that probably it would make no difference if i was a mute to them. i hate how they just label you when they first meet you and move on without a second glance. i wish they wouldnt do stuff like that...ive always thought of just coming in there one day and screaming to them everything that i feel and make them realize i do have something to say and they better listen. i hope that you are able to rise over all the labels and rumors and just be yourself

ya same here. at some point though, i just sorta go insane with keeping so much stuff inside and just dont really care anymore, but ive never really opened up yet or anything along those lines

If someone doesn't talk alot people are going to assume the worst...especially if your insulting people. That's the way life is, get over it.

I use to be a very quite person. Still am from time to time. I was always getting fun of because when I moved to MO I had lived in NY my whole life and had a REALLY bad accent. Well the stupid hooshers here had never heard it and thought that I sounded funny. So they would make me mad, to make me yell, so they could make fun of my accent. I soon then learned how to talk without it.

It still comes out and now it just scares people. I was given the nickname silent but deadly when I was a waitress because I was always quite and to myself, till someone made me mad. You know?

So yeah...it will get better. I'm now much more louder and crawling out of my shell. I don't remember who said it, but they were right when they said that you're going to end up as their boss one day, or you're just going to be a hell of a lot better then them in life, and they're going to wish they never treated you the way they do now.

pinkalias: The reason whatever I have to say is insulting is because they insult me first. How am I supposed to respond? I like your shirt? I mean, honestly, I can't be nice to people if they're never nice to me. Plus it's not that nice to say 'get over it' I feel completely alone and that helps in no little fraction of a way.

teys: they don't actually notice that they hit me...it happens amongst marker fights or basketball games, even paper airplanes in the hallway...They never apologize either, the closest they to doing so get is laughing. They don't even notice if I hit them back...Sigh...

I have friends. I'm not trying to complain...I'm trying to ask for advice... I don't insult them either. I usually don't say anything. Then it gets worse. How am I supposed to get over it? What am I supposed to do? Run and hide? They all think i'm this happy person...even my friends. I try to tell them what's wrong and they laugh or smile...I suppose your trying to help me pinkalias but your starting to sound just like everyone else I ever try to talk to, thanks anyways, though. If it makes you feel better i'll just stop asking you for help and go talk meaninglessly to my diary...yay...

If you have friends that have the same issues you do, sounds like you have a good source to take this up with. As far as "bullies" ignore them. There's nothing we can do about it and that's the best advice I can give you.

I never said I insulted them...I said if have something to say it's insulting and why would I insult someone I barely know? I appear happy around my friends and quiet around everyone else.
