My brother, the poet

Howdy, ya'll. I'm new to this site and only have one poem out (Thinking of You). This is the first time that I've written a poem since middle school. My problem is that I don't seem to have the creative gene. My brother is the creative one in the family (hence the title) and I came up with the short end of the stick. I can write quite well, but when it comes to knowing what to write about, I'm stuck. Some suggestions would help greatly.

Don't try to do better than your brother. Everybody is special in different ways:) but if you have problems rhyming go to www.rhymezone.com and if you need anything to wrigth about here are some suggestions: the long beach walk, everything, you and I, say you love me...
