There just arent any posts for you guys... I felt like adding one to the cause... there are posts for blokes, girls, teenagers, idiots, etc. and none for those amazingly brilliant men out there. |

Bob, when I said "brilliant" I had you in mind... and one other person who knows who he is... but I wont mention his name and let other people know he is so permanently enlightened, it would ruin my reputation because people wouldnt listen to me as much ;) |

I've never seen a shining mind either, so roll with the connotation. However, for the sake of semantics, in my elaboration I say: "and lastly, about sex, just in case the other categories leave your amazingly brilliant mind devoid of brilliance." |

As this revolves around one word, brilliant, it is singular, not plural, hence connotation. |

No, we are talking about my connotations, not brilliance. MY connotationS are MINE and I do believe he was meaning plural, because no one says "you and your.... (one action), the phrase indicates that something happens often. If I connotated one time he wouldnt make a comment like that. |

Connoting is a word, it wasnt on my computer dictionary when I looked it up (Bret mentioned it wasnt, bad Bret), but it's in the big one. |

I never said you were wrong, I corrected Bret. You couldnt say "you and your connotation," unless you were talking about one specifically, and you werent. |

lol, I'm an exception to the rule, not an amazingly brilliant man... not last time I checked anyway. |

Connotation is acceptable and I never said connoting was wrong, I asked a question, I didn't make a statement. Read my original post and spot the question mark. |
