    lol, nice.

    *

    OK. I'll elaborate.

To post here you have to be either a Kaitlin, a Kristina, or an amazingly brilliant man.

You then have to have words of wisdom about each of the following:

    Life:

    Liberty:

    The pursuit of happiness:

and lastly, about sex, just in case the other categories leave your amazingly brilliant mind devoid of brilliance.

    Sex:

*looks around, coughs, approaches the podium*

    Life.

Life is like a field of corn. Pretty enough to look at on its own, but often overlooked. Only when you reap, mill, and create from the base ingredient will you have anything worth having.

    Liberty.

Liberty is only truly enjoyed by those who have been bound.

    Sex.

Painful, unfulfilling and often perilous at a young age, but it gets better and lasts longer as you get older. Best treated like a vintage wine, open only when ready.

    The pursuit of happiness.

Pure happiness can only be achieved through selfless deeds. Any act that makes you happy to the detriment of anyone or anything else is a hollow and empty cause. Making someone else happy at a cost to yourself will make you happier than satisfying your own drive.

Life :There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle

LIBERTY : "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." (Geourge Orwell.)

SEX : saving yourself (having sex after marraige) is better in the long run.

Happiness : Persue happiness where ever it may be, but if you open your eyes you'll see its all around you, you just have to capture it.

    hmm hope that helps :S

I know this is not original but it is the way I feel
life is a journy not a destination
Liberty is as cracked as the bell sometimes
The persuit of happiness to me is another oxymoron our desires are nearly always just out of reach .......like looking at the sky closer does not make it more blue
sex sometimes a need and other times only a desire

    LIFE COMES FROM< LIFE
    LIBERTY IS THE SCALES
    HAPPINESS = HEAVEN
    SEX = LIFE = DEATH

I should not have answered this post because i am not brilliant

  • Kaitlin Kristina

Bob, when I said "brilliant" I had you in mind... and one other person who knows who he is... but I wont mention his name and let other people know he is so permanently enlightened, it would ruin my reputation because people wouldnt listen to me as much ;)

    Life:

From the moment you are born, you are dying. So you might as well live a little.

    Liberty:

Everbody has liberty. Not everybody realizes it.

    Happiness:

    True happiness comes from within.

    Sex:

Sex is not the best thing in the world, but it is right up there at the top. :)

    Life:

no words to explain the unbearable...

    Liberty:
we all have it. so why not use it...?

    Happiness:

Happiness is points in life when it seems to be actually enjoyable...( people who seek happiness are not truly happy...)

    Sex:

Sexuality is a pure form of pleasure, something that satisfies our deepest purpose in life

    Life...

A burden and a gift. The stage of knowledge for eternity. What we make of it, is what it becomes...

    Liberty...

Justice for all... no differentiating between race, language, origin, etc...
The means by which we all have power over ourselves...
A right in which all are entitled to...
Continually wanting more, and not appreciating what we have...

    Pursuit of Happiness...

A constant growth inside the mind of wants, and needs... never to be satisfied... only to be tempted...
When life has come to it's full potential and harmony do we achieve what we perceive as happiness... None know, for none have yet reached it...

    Sex...

Combined in with the pursuit of happiness... human minds think sex can hold it's momentary pleasures for true happiness...
Only when joined with the power of creating life does everlasting joy unfold...

Either misused or upheld, all of these attributes suffer what you make them to be...

Neither Life, nor liberty, nor happiness, or sex can bring you what you truly desire through abuse of these sacred privileges...

I've never seen a shining mind either, so roll with the connotation. However, for the sake of semantics, in my elaboration I say: "and lastly, about sex, just in case the other categories leave your amazingly brilliant mind devoid of brilliance."

Great answers, there are more brilliant men around than I thought...

  • Kaitlin Kristina

Yes, literally it in fact does.

However, you know very well what I connoted. Would you like to share with us your brilliance of the mind, Mr. Me?

  • Kaitlin Kristina

    Anyone else?

  • Bret Higgins

    "you and your connoting... sheesh..."

    Matt.. surely it's connotation.

  • Kaitlin Kristina

    It should be:

    "you and your connotations... sheesh..."

As "connoting" is not a word, although I did connote, and "connotation" is not owned by me.

  • Bret Higgins

As this revolves around one word, brilliant, it is singular, not plural, hence connotation.

  • Kaitlin Kristina

No, we are talking about my connotations, not brilliance. MY connotationS are MINE and I do believe he was meaning plural, because no one says "you and your.... (one action), the phrase indicates that something happens often. If I connotated one time he wouldnt make a comment like that.

    I stick by "connotations."

  • Kaitlin Kristina

Connoting is a word, it wasnt on my computer dictionary when I looked it up (Bret mentioned it wasnt, bad Bret), but it's in the big one.

If he were to use connotations it would work though ;)

  • Kaitlin Kristina

I never said you were wrong, I corrected Bret. You couldnt say "you and your connotation," unless you were talking about one specifically, and you werent.

    Bad Bret, bad.

  • Kaitlin Kristina

lol, I'm an exception to the rule, not an amazingly brilliant man... not last time I checked anyway.

  • Bret Higgins

Connotation is acceptable and I never said connoting was wrong, I asked a question, I didn't make a statement. Read my original post and spot the question mark.

Bad Kaitlin... Bad wicked naughty Kaitlin.

    You and your carrot.

  • Kaitlin Kristina
