wow. well i havnt exactly felt that feeling yet. but i think its cool yall want babies as long as you dont go out n get em right now. everyone wants to feel needed unconditionally. as long as you wait for the right time, and not just a time thats right for you, but for the baby. you gotta be emotionally stable, and have a job, and a nest egg and have enuff money to pay for all the shit yea its a big responsiblity its not just oooh cute baby, its ooh cute baby took a shit and im out of diapers. im sounding harsh im sure but im just being realistic. but if i put my realistic side away for a few minutes.....my cousin just had twins n they are the sweetest most adorable little babies in th entire world! i just wanna steal em hehe

Thought that I'd give a male's point of view on the subject. Babies and young children are definitely cute and yeah I've had that feeling of want when I held my nephews and nieces. But I think that waiting until you can take care of yourself and are sure that you can handle having a child to take care of is the smartest thing to do. Having a child entails long nights of sleeplessness, little or no social life (especially at your age), and absolutely no pocket money. Giving life to a child would be the best thing in the world, with this I agree. But you should be as absolutely ready for it as you can be. Just thought I'd give my opinion.

When you get a C section they cut through every muscle in your stomach and you have a scar for the rest of your life.

    Pyragus.

I don't know what the big rush is for you. Keep volunteering at the nursery and you'll see the best side of raising kids.

You're young, so young infact you're still a kid yourself.

There's no rush, there's plenty to do and see in this world before tying yourself down for the next twenty years or so with a child.

Two year old kids can be adorable. Just wait until they hit 8, 12, 15 and so on. Most kids here hate their parents. If you ever hated yours at any point in your ongoing childhood remember that your kids will hate you right back in time honoured tradition.

Although I believe some 16 year olds could handle raising a child, I dont believe that it is something one should CHOOSE to do- unless they are married and amish.

If it happens by accident, which there is really only the 2% chance that the birth control failed excuse for, there is no excuse to be having a child at that age and without a father.

My sister had an emergency caesarian section when she had my nephew twins.

That was nearly 2 years ago and she is still awaiting an operation to help with the pain from the scarring that has caused endometreosis.

If you are ignorant of endometreosis then I seriously suggest you look it up. It's not nice.

Oh, and every kid has plenty of valid reasons to hate their parents. You'll be no different regardless of how much you try.

Every kid hates their parents at some point.

It is either for good reason, although sometimes inadvertant on the parents part, or it is just because they are teenagers and want the liberty to follow every stupid whim and urge.

If it is the latter, the kids will grow up and get over it. If it is the first, then prepare to pay for it all your life.

Parents raise their kids all wrong in my opinion, but I'll raise mine differently I suppose. They'll still hate me.
