Horrible person?

Today, a friend of mine called Hamish comes up to me and says "Hey, Jackie, I thought you should know your friend Cameron is lying on the floor not moving."

Now, Cameron is NOT a friend of mine and hasn't been for a long time so I said, "So? He's not my friend." and I walked out of the building. Half way out the door, I felt really horrible so I ran back inside and tried to find out where he was. I tried to help him but like, I said, we're not friends anymore, so he wouldn't listen to me. I helped get people to get the nurse and told people who were crowding him to get lost but I know that I STILL walked away earlier and I still feel terrible.

Am I a really bad person?

Thanks. I just feel guilty for hesitating to help him because I thought he was faking it (like he always does) and because I didn't like him, I thought, it's none of my concern. But I just couldn't walk away from him even though I hate him, i went back to help him. I just really hate that I hesitated to help someone in need.

That doesnt make you a terrible person.

You went back, that's what's important.

I think that it's the level of horrible that walking away would make you is dependent on the severity of the situation, but everything's alright, so no worries.

Hamish doesn't like him either because Cameron publicly admits that he hates Hamish.

I just would like to add, you're definetely not a horrible person for feeling such a lare amount of guilt over this; when in the end, you did the right thing.
You would be horrible if you didn't care.
But you're not.

I don't actually know. He seems to always pass out but, an hourn later, he's fine and bouncing off the walls. I don't know what's wrong with him. A lot of people think he's just an attention seeking prick because sometimes it seems like he's faking it.

But, if he is faking it for attention maybe there's something ELSE wrong with him.
