What do you think of England and the English people.

I'm just interested to know what you thoughtful people out there think of us English and our country??

I LOVE the accent.
Never been to the country, but all I know about it is it's a very cold place.

Not cold... Its rainy... all the time... and the stereotypical accent is different to everyone elses we dont all talk like the stereotype

Im english - yeah there are some nice people but also a lot of nasty people. I basically have the stereotypical accent as i live just on the outskirts of london...which isnt all that great either! When we go there, there is loadz of people from other countries visitin but when you live near it...its not that amazing! but it rains A LOT here...not fair :( it rained 2day...i had 2 walk 2 skool :(

Hey, if it makes people feel better I'll go on and beat down America, because that's socially acceptable and a fad these days, heaven forbid we pass judgement on any other country.

East coast: Really irritating, especially the Jersey accent. REALLY, REALLY, irritating.

Down Soooouuuth: I actually like it, but no matter how smart you are it immedietly puts a damper on how intellectual you can sound by about half.

West coast: What can I say? We just rock. Straight forward, to the point, and unmessed with, but we are probably the worst with the English language, being so laid back, dude.

Middle America: Derrrrr, just go milk the cows and be done with it. Seriously though, their accent isnt too bad.

I really like English weather, I live in the north east, and I live in a really great victorian house. Its not posh and its not huge, but its interesting. Now its mostly crappy concrete boxes that they built yesterday and called houses.
I dislike royalty in general. I do think that we should have royalty. Its part of our culture, but I dont think they should have all this money and gold and palaces. Imagine how many homeless people we could house in buckingham palace. And I dread to think what the catering budget is for one of their banquets. Just think what that could do for the poor of africa. Infact I'd quite like some new royalty. All of the current ones are in bred streaks of piss. And the queen really has let herself go a bit.

i don't care about the accent, but then i grew up with it.... most people say they hate the 'Birmingham accent' but when you here it everyday you don't really otice it, even when you don't have it yourself. Anyway, i sooo wish I sisn't live here

Ok, im English and i live in England.... I CAN'T STAND IT HERE!!! England sucks SO badly. The people here are rude and SO f*cking stupid. Honestly, i can't explain it all because it won't sound that big a deal to you, but the English nation is going down the F*CKING TOILET! England is so ugly and...grey...it's just awful. I speak, not posh, but not too far away from posh if u get me, and i get teased at school because of it, that's how pathetic and cruel English teens are, some of them r real bastards lol. There are positive sides to England, and there are some really nice people...but there are more negative things. But, in 16 months time i will be moving to Philly, just after ive finished college! WOHOO! I love the US, it's so amazing, the people are so kewl and it's just so beautiful, But yeh, basically, i hate England, it is really shitty and i hate it, i feel that England makes me depressed....THERE'S NO FRIKKING SUNSHINE, JUST GLOOMYNESS!! *sighs*. I hate England, full stop lol.
