okay for serious- I need advice with a guy

okay here's the thing- I broke up with my ex about 5 months ago. HE was a cheating ass blah blah right...well here's the prob. lately my friend's older brother and I have been getting alot closer, I mean we already are close but not like this. Like on tuesday we had a bunch of people over for dinner and his family came came. when i was getting late and everyone was leaving I went outside and was looking at the stars cause the sky looks AMAZING by my house. and 'HE' came out and stayed with me and even gave me his jacket so i didn't get cold. he was so sweet and stayed for like an hour later then everyone else did just talking and joking and like hugging me so I'd "stay warm."
I really and falling for him HARD and I'm just afraid if I say something he'll freak. I want to say he feels the same way about me but idk...maybe I'm idealizing him liking me romantically becuase me ex was such an ass and I just want to feel well wanted.

Am I insane about all this and just imagining something's happening with this guy?

the guy obviously feels something for you, no guy would sit outside with a girl and give her his jacket if he was feeling nothing, the only thing that you have to worry about is if he just wants to get in your pants, be careful.talk to him and see what he says. dont be afraid that there's nothing, there is definatly something, go for it!!!

I would have to agree with Michelle on this.

No guy would do, just to turn around and say that he's feeling nothing.

Talk to him. If he's as good as a friend has you say he is, then even if the feelings aren't the same in return, he wont freak.

Just tell him that you've been thinking a lot and that that night really effected you. Tell him that you think that you're falling for him and find out what he says. Don't tell him that you're falling HARD. That might freak him out. Lol.

I think, he does feel something for you. From what you have told me, is does seem as if he likes you too. But, on the other hand, he could just be doing that out of pure friendliness. But I do think you should tell him how you feel. At least that way, you'll know where you stand. You gotta be careful with this one. Wish you luck.
