I really need help please

On wednesday i tried to kill myself by pills. obviously i am not dead, but i was throwing up all day yesterday. My mom was wooried and called my doctor because i have acid reflux and my mom thought i might have had an ulcer. they took my blood at the doctor. SHOULD I TELL MY MOM I TRIED TO KILL MYSELF?? or should i wait until the result com from the blood test and they call my mom? I am seriously freaked so i only serious answers please. what should I do?

You should wait. Cause they might not actually find out that you took all those pills and then if you told her before, you wouldnt of needed too.

CAN THEY DETECET HIGH LEVELS OF CODEINE FROM YOUR BLOOD? I already know i am an idiot nano but they might find the dugs in my blood. I am so confused and I would feel really ashamed if I told her.

Yes, a blood test will reveal high levels of drugs in your system. There is no reason to feel ashamed. You should tell your mother that you tried to kill yourself. If she is a good parent, she will only be happy that you talked to her about it. Despite what you think, parents only want the best for their kids (most parents, anyway). Just talking to some one about your problems is therapeutic, especially if that some one is very close to you (as in your parents, siblings, family, friends).

Not all blood test are done to look for drugs in your system. They have specific test to check for drugs. Narcotics are not in your blood system for very long. The one drug that stays the longest is marijuana which you didn't do. I would tell your mom but not the doctor. The doctor will more than likely send you to see a psychiatrist right away. If you would have gone to the ER and told them you tried to commit suicide they automatically admit you to the hospital on the psych ward. Talk to you mom and go from there. Good luck!

You should sit down with her and just talk with her about it. Tell her what you did and why you did it. Hopefully she will understand and be sympathetic (most parents would be).

If you think you are going to break down and not be able to tell her face to face, I'd write her a letter... I'm glad you are going to tell her. Just explain to her that you were unhappy and why you were so unhappy... poor bebe! Good luck... if you need anything else, let me know.

I've always found that writting a letter helps get everything out because you don't have to worry about her interupting you or anyone either. Just write down everything you have to say to her.

And yes, the drugs will show up...they might not like someone said because they arent looking for it, but they very well might. You might want to tell your mom, and if you're scared, then take my advice and write a letter saying EVERYTHING that you want her to know. It will really help.
