Hmm ... I'm not actually sure. I think you can get some kind of make-up to cover up the scars, but unless you want laser treatment then i don't think you will be able to make the cuts not scar over. I have the same problem girl, and I know it sucks !
Best way i suppose is to stop cutting.
Hope this is of some help,

im not sure exactly, but i think i saw a comercial for something that reduces the appearence of scars. it was some sort of product...i think it might have been neosporin. try putting that on the cuts and i think it reduces the appearenc of scars.

If you cut deep then it will scar. You're damaging your skin and the more you keep cutting the worse it's gonna get. As for the ones you've had for 6 months ... I doubt they will go away. They may fade in time but i doubt it. Just stop cutting !!
    I know its hard ....

Hey, I have the same problem. All my scars are visible. I have scars that have stayed on me from about a year ago, and they're pretty visible. You can't really completely prevent it from scarring, but you can reduce the appearance of the scar. When the cut is still new until it fully heals, always put Neosporin on it. That helps a lot. You must always try to keep the scab wet, make sure it doesn't get dry. Always put cream on it... I can guarantee you that the scar won't show as much compared to if you just don't do anything to it.

Georgi... I know how you feel. I model too and it's so difficult hiding the scars when I wear short sleeves. I'm close with my make-up artist so I told him about my cutting... he always puts foundation on my scars and my cuts... and let me tell you... it's a MIRACLE!!! It looks like I've never done anything to my skin... but once it comes off, it's back to its normal self. But if you're going to tell whoever is part of your modeling business... make sure that you can trust them to not tell anybody. You don't want the news going around... it may ruin you modeling career.

Good Luck to all... I hope I came as a bit of some help. Take Care ~ Tina

They do make stuff to reduce the appearance of scars. I think that the Bandaid band makes it. Just go to your local drug store, and tell them that you're looking for a scar reducer and they will show you what it is.

My friend used it when he fell off his bike and sctatche his arm up really bad. It kept picking at the scab and so his dad bought it for him, he put it on for a couple of days, and now you can't tell that he ever scratched it! Well...if you look close enough but...lol...boys are boys.

And the foundation works too...It is very hard to match your skin color though so beful with that one!
