why can't religious poetry win?

I don’t like drug pushers. I think we have a very different idea of what poetry is also. I have compared the relationship of a poem to the poet as to the relation of creation to creator. I found the poem that won this weeks contest to be one of your better poems. But I am not happy it puts innocent minds three clicks away from your filth. Tell me when you wrote I ..d your mom in the butt. It was grainy. Did you write that one from your mind heart or soul. Why can't we all just be nice and not stereotype?

JPM is just plain wrong this time. I have a very different view of forgiveness,. It may be harsh medicine, but it heals old wounds, and it is the most beautiful poetry in the world. Hateful remarks, and stereotyping are not ok, not when I do it or anyone else does it. Yet we are all human and I am not trying to excuse any weakness. It is just a reality. Hurt people want to hurt people MR PLAIN you were the one that pointed out that the bible can be a powerful tool I don’t want to fight with you. I just want to share my peace with you. Feeling the need to interject quickly, then I'll duck back out: AA is not cultish.

AA is a spiritual course that I think could be helpful to any self harm. That is why I believe this dicussion IS NOT OFF TOPIC because the poem which won this weeks contest was about how the chemical stimulation of heroin or drugs like it might support an illusion of contentment. The poem flowed ok but I like happy endings. Anyone who does not reach for their highest potential is just settling It seems jpm can write
