Hey this is for people who are Christians mostly...have you ever just started to stray away from God and Jesus Christ...so much so that you just want to be broken, so broken hearted, be so hurt that the only one who can mend you IS God? Just curious, because that's kind of what i'm feeling right now, and i don't know if Wanting to be broken is normal. please advice is handy!

what, why is it selfish?...i know that i need to work on it myself too, but i can't do it without help...and in all honesty, as much as i worry about other people, i think that every now and then it's good to be selfish, just every now and then. Ya know? But, i was just curious who anyone who has felt like they were being consumed by Satan, prayed for breaking, so they could focus on God.

i agree its kind of selfish....but people are gonna be selfish....honestly, i kind of have that feeling too...i want to know someone loves me and cares enough to help me...i want to be broken and i want someone to see that and help me...i want someone to love me....it is kind of selfish i admit, but who doesnt want to be reassured that they are loved and cared for?? come one...

lol.. relying on god can be very usefull at times.. but there are also times when he feels you should work things out.. so its not really selfish because he doesn't always help when u think u need it.. just my opinion

yes I think I know what you are talking about the most beautiful spiritual expieriences that i have had is when my will was totaly broken and I had to turn it completly over to God in my humility but when God gives be stength my pride returns.

In a way, i guess you could look at it being selfish. But i think god is always there for you. he already knows what your going to do before you do it. Remember, he died for your sins? OUR sins. So no matter what your decision... god already knows about it. And As long as you learn from your mistakes,..... and ask god for forgiveness you'll be okay.
