does anyone really understand????

i am a cutter. i have been diagnosed with depression. i have tried to kill myself a number of times, but i really don't want to die. i've been doing okay for a while, but someone i really cared about killed himself, and now i'm getting really depressed again. there is a teacher at my school, and i haven't told him that, but i've told him other things, and he says he understands, and he'll try to help me. does he really understand? can he? do any of you?

He might not, but Im sure alot of people on this site have been through very bad things too. If you trust this teacher talk to him. If not talk to a good friend or someone you know well. Or failing that you can talk to me anytime you want, cause I do understand about depression.

i think that if ur teacher realy understood u he wud try and do something to yourself! How did you feel when sum1 u reall cared abt killed them self? Im sure u felt horrible! try and make a list of ppl who care abt you and think of them answering that same question! You may not even no who really cares abt you util one day! So dont, no matter waht, ever kill urself (or cutt either) If you need advice or someone to talk to! I'm here for you! and i care for you too! =)
