okay people, gather round.....

People do. I am just curious as to WHY people do it. I am not one to judge or say it's wrong. I just want to understand it. Cutting is not like getting tattoos. Cutting is someone self inflicting pain, a tattoo is a cosmetic thing that people love, I can't see the comparison. People in these forums tell everyone that they cut, I mean is it the "popular" thing to do, are people proud of the fact? Just asking, please don't take offense.
