real friend or not?

In september i told my best mate that i cut myself alot and how that had been going on for more than a year etc. and she freaked out.... since then things got better but if i mention it she goies really weird on me.... and now i can't have a serious convosation about my feelings atall (unless their happy ones) without her going weird on me..... since then she has also got a boyfriend an made new friends.... at school she doesn't talk to me unless she has 2.... and she tells me she doesn't like talking to me cos im always annoyed at her.... whenever we talk we seem to argue - is she really a friend - if im ever upset she ignores me and gives me dirty looks.... is it my fault?? but we still have loads of fun together just as long as im happy and i don't tell her if im upset!

im kind of in the same situation....except my friend just acts like im not alive...it confuses me soo much...i think maybe she wants to be your friend and she wants to be there for you but she just doesn't understand...and that really isnt an excuse i know but...im sorry, i suck at giving advice and stuff.....i wish you the best of luck...take care *hugs*....but my friends are being the same way, if you ever wanna talk about it you can email me in the private message thingy or im me...my yahoo sn is justaloserlikeu or xxlostxmyxangelxx ....later

this doesnt sound like a true friend, if she was a real friend then she should stick by you no matter what, if she only wants to be your friend when your happy then she isnt worth it! the same kind of thing happened to me, and i decided that they are not worth it! it is up to you if you still want to be friends with her, but i dont think she is a real friend, it sounds like she uses you to have fun or whatever, xxx

my opinion is she is uneasy with the subject. i think she is a true friend she is just scared, and worried for you. she prolly doenst know how to help you with cutting either and this may be why she doesnt like when you talk about sad things cuz she thinks your gonna cut and she doesnt know how to comfort you. i think you should talk to her about this and just ask her why she doesnt like being around you when your upset.

In the end ladies, No one will be your friend... We are all going to expire in our own dejected lonely lives.... :) No. I’m being flippant. Nevertheless, I do wish to affirm that there will be VERY few people that will be true friends throughout your life. You can have a "Clique" of 6 people, and only one of them will truly care about you; only she/he will go through all of life's dire tragedies, and bestow you a shoulder to lean on. Trust me, don't trust anyone...

well i've stopped now (for her cos she said she thought i was sick) and she still acts the same.... and now she doesnt even want to sit with me.... and i have no1 else.... so i just end up on my own.... its really getting me down!!!
