Am I Drama Queen Because of this?

First let me start by saying my "friend" is 32 and I am 24. We have known each other for 4 years, and we have been beating around the relationship bush for 3 of these years. I have confessed my feelings to him, but he is scared to tell me how he feels about me. That was the initial problem, but it is no longer the issue at hand.

The problem is now that about 3 weeks ago I almost died, and I sent him an e-mail letting him know what happened because at the time he had went out of town. I explained everything that happened and how scared I was that I could have been dead...and he responded with an e-mail that said whatever. When I read that my heart dropped. I couldn't let the situation ride, so I sent him another e-mail asking him why he would take such an occurence so lightly (especially when we are suppose to be best friends). His reponse was that I was being overly dramatic.

Oh my God, he is an idiot, right? So do you all I think I was being dramatic?

No you wernt being a drama queen, he probably doesnt understand, or realise how serious it was/is!

I almost died because I have chronic asthma, and my whole respiratory system almost shut completely down. When I got to the hospital it was almost to late. The doctor told me if it had waited fifteen more minutes, the only thing they could have done was put me on life support and I would have been on life support until somebody in my family pulled the plug.

I explained all of this to him. I told him everything the doctor told me and everything I was feeling, but apparently he didn't care.
