anorexia confuses me

anorexic ppl usually wear baggy clothes thats usually a sign they have it in the first place and besides people shouldn't be catigorised by what they wear

they might just be saying that they are fat because they don't look as good as some1 else they saw?

its a mental illness. dont try and understand it.

I think that it depends on how severe the anorexia is.

Some girls will know that they are skinny, but still be anorexic for the fear of gaining weight. Obviously that isnt an extreme case, they just wont eat much or enough to sustain themselves.

I've gone through periods of anorexic tendency, and I knew I was skinny. A lot of it is about control, like was mentioned earlier, but I still knew I was skinny when I wasnt eating much.

Its not always because they see themselves and think that they're fat...it can either be that they feel fat like inside, kinda like when you're really really full, or cuz they want to stay skinny, or get skinnier then they are...maybe to be as skinny as some models. so they show off what they have, cuz they know they're skinny, they're just working to improve it. im not saying anorexia is a good thing, but its not always a "fat" thing. it has a lot to do with control also, like kaitlin kristina said.

i could never, EVER find out how in the hell people get the motivation to be anorexic. this one time, some boy in my grade called me fat, and i stopped eating. i made it witout food for a week, and didnt lose a pound... then i was like, screw it, and ate again. but man, some of these people go for like... five years without eating! that's no way to live in my oppinion. i just joined a sport (volleyball) and i got healthy, AND lost some pounds! that's a MUCH better way to lose weight, cuz then u can still eat like a horse when u want!
