my scars on my arms are always soo itchy why is this?

Is this the first time you have cut yourself??? Everytime your scars are healing, they itches!! That's just normal, don't worry!!!

I don't think they're infected .. they're probably just healing. When I cut, It itches sometimes too. Just don't worry.
I know It isn't that simple to just not cut, but please try hard not to. I don't want this to look like I'm being rude or telling you that you should cut or that it's ok. You know? Sorry if I seem like I was being rude.

As far as I know, cuts arent meant to itch...Mine dont anyway, and other people I know that cut, theirs dont itch. Maybe it is infected, or you may have sensitive skin?

well i dont think its infected because they already healed and scarred...but ohwell...its probably just me coz other scars ive had through my life havnt itched

all scars are itch, it has nothing to do with them being on your arms, they could very well be scratches on your knees it wouldn't matter.

Something to do with the healing process.

they all itch. i think its cuz the scabs on them rub all over and the skin around it gets dry and its so damn annoying. but yea, its normal

Mine itch... Even still, and I havent cut my arms in a month... Hmm...

yea, after I cut it itches too, and as I've read theres a lot of people who say that it itches for them, so obviously it can't be that bad of a sign. And for those who ask why she doesn't just stop...if you cut yourself then you'd understand that its not easy at all to stop, I've been trying to stop for about a year now. I hide mine with my wrist bands... I wear them all the time. GL to all who cut and are trying to stop!
