...people who cut

this may not be like a question or nething..but ive been thinking and i was wondering when people get asked why do u cut, what there answers would be if they hadnt heard neone elses opinion..but alot of ppl say its a pain they can control...it might just be me but i dont think thats true or really applies to everyone..ive cut before and id have to say i have no idea why i do it...i was just wondering if neone else felt the same?

some people do it for control becuase everything that happens to them they cant control and THAT they can. i do it because of somewhat of the same reason. i need control in my life and i control my emotions with that and i control my life with it. lots of people dont know why though, it took me a year of therapy to figure that out. there are a lot of other people who do it as punishment though. cuz they dont deserve to be happy, they deserve to hurt. my gay friend did that for a while till he coped. there are many reasons...

I think it depends on individual lives and situations there is NO answer to this question its completely variable - lets move on to a more stimulating discussion :o)
