why ask for advice and then not use it

I know I can't be the only person annoyed by this. So many people here say "i need some advise" or whatever and then when you give them some, they say oh "i cant do that" If you can't take the advice, than why ask?

Maybe some already have the answer but need someone else to give it to them....and what we say is not the answer they were looking for.

Good point Natalie. I thought of that after I posted. But if you think about it, they most likely arn't going to hear the answer they want. Because most of them want to be told a quick fix with no problems to go with it and well, that is pretty well impossible with most of their situations.

I have seen people asking for advice on some pretty FREAKY situations on here. Like that one that was just posted a little while ago that you and I both answered....It's crazy the things these young people are going through.

I know. I feel bad for that chick. I can't say if i was her i'd do the same, most likely because I'm the kinda girl to just kick the mother fuckers ass. But if she doesn't take that advice, I mean, what kind of advice is she looking for? "jsut avoid and ignore it" like, she can't really do that. So if she doesnt take our advice than..it would be slightly annoying that she asked in the first place. That's the point I was making with this post. That and i just wanted to vent a bit.

Nada...I think I liked your answer a lot better than Ashley's!

It is not idiocy. That comment was idiocy though. People who actually are telling a real and true situation that they are facing in their life may know all the answers to their questions. But need confirmation that what they have decided is correct. It's common sense....If you answer a math question but ask your teacher if it's correct, is that idiocy? No, it's CONFIRMATION! And some times it's just young people who actually just don't KNOW what to do...but some how in our quest to help they find their own way...I have asked for advice and not taken it as I'm sure you have too, it's life. Maybe we didn't get the answer we were looking for or stumbled across a better solution our selves. It happens.

"*rolls eyes*" Well, that shows your maturiy level. Who said anything about changing someone? That has nothing to do with the topic at hand....does it? I didn't say anything about changing someone. So, please Ashley, make me understand what the hell you are talking about...

Georgi, please grow up already! We are not arguing, simply having a discussion, which is what I THOUGHT this board was for....? Shut up. Just because you and your dim witted friends have silly conversations consisting of "hey gurly, woot woot, fuck" doesn't mean everyone else does.
