well, you know....this is a forum for sadness/depression and there are categories for the depression poems.....so whats wrong with the people putting that type of stuff in those places?? that's what they're there for...right??

They ask for our opinion. We give them our opinion.
If my child was a cutter, yes I'd be disapointed, and I'd get them as much help for them to STOP.
Most things we write are telling them WHY cutting it stupid and how they should stop.

They will not grow off "omg I feel sorry 4 u i undastand wot ur going thru." they need the truth, and they ask for it.

Not all people that cut do it for attention. And many come to these boards purely just to vent there feelings.
I dont come here to be judged as a "cutter" even though technically i am.
Maybe people should try to understand why we/they/people cut and how sometimes it can help BEFORE you start to judge.

It just seems like these topics are being repeated over and over, but maybe that's what is needed for people to understand....
Everybody is entiltled to their own opinion and plenty of people on this site are happy to express theirs...
I think that many of the people who complain about "cutters" (eww how I hate that term) are just looking for some thing to moan about..
I don't see a problem with cutting, actually that's a lie, I don't agree with it too much and I definatley would not reccommend it (having cut for about 1 year- but woo hoo I have stopped), I can look at the arguement from both sides...
Aybody who posts something about cutting is, or should be expecting some form of criticism, but I do agree with you, it isn't fair to make people, who already feel so down that they feel they need to hurt themselves, feel so much worse or bad about themselves.

I didn't read your whole post but I will tell you why Shawna....because they SUCK!! It's the dumbest thing I have ever heard of and that's why me and others who feel the same way bash cutters. You people are so frigin dumb...

I love myself...everything about myself. God created every single part of me the way he did for a reason and for that alone I love everything about ME. Just because I can bash a dumb ass person does NOT by any means mean that I don't like myself. I don't just like myself, I LOVE myself. It's funny that that's always someone's answer for a question like this. Sorry, but you're completely wrong. Well, maybe not completely wrong because you did say "some people."

So cutting is a talent? A serious problem yes, but definitely not a talent. I can say anything I want about any topic I chose to. That does not make me pathetic and/or sad. If someone had a post that said, "I want to play pro-basketball, what do you think?" I'd rant and rave about how awesome that was...But when a little twit is announcing all over the internet that they cut I can't sympathize or even understand that so I will tell them exactly what I think since they did ask what everyone thought. Besides the fact that it is incredibly STUPID I always question if what this imbeciles are saying is true.
