Do you think listening to music, effects what u write, because it puts you in a mind frame were you can relate to the words that are released.

I'm opposite actually music distracts me from writing...

ah, McMurphy, cool, Paul McCartney does the same thing. That's not a knock at him, that's just something I heard he said he does.

Music can sometimes influence my writing...not always in a good way. Listening to way too much Linkin Park produced "Bleeding Memories."
