The decline of The World of "Man", has it come?

The decline of civilization seems to be here, that is as the so called "civilized" world progresses does the world not become more hate filled, dose not the world become more mutilated by the hand of those who inhabit it, look around and think did not the Greeks have an advanced world, as we claim to have now, and did not their empire collapse? Look, I ask, to the past to learn of the future. Look and learn before time itself stops and life halts in all aspects. Some may call this the work of a "mad man", it may be that, but it is also that of an observer. And so my fellow people, and to all who read this, I ask you to look and reply back to me this what do you see?

Before I get into an apocalyptic type of mind frame, might I inquire as to your religious/ spiritual belief system so I might better understand where your ideologies are coming from?

I see people inhabiting a world that nobodys cared about and slowly murdered over the last 200 years more damage has been done to our planet in that time than had in the last several million years, and now people are crying and wondering, why so many hurricanes, why so many floods, why does winter never come anymore, why me, I'll tell you why because now ur getting all the smack back, that you gave to mother nature over your lifetime, The World Of "Man" has been farsical and i hope whichever being inhabits this planet after us has more respect for our planet than that of a cigarette end, because thats what we've done we've smoked the goodness out of this world and soon maybe all that will be left of it is ash, I'm not some stoned puritanical mercenary from Utah I drive a car I use aerosols, But what I'm saying is the damage is done and whether we like it or not we have made our bed and the race of "Man" will have to lie in it.

    Dear Reader,
I guess you could call it Christianity but although this I state, I keep all theories of the religions in mind in both meditation and in life.

Christianity as in you belong to a specific dogma or Christian as far as esoteric terms go?

What I'm really getting to is if this question sprouts from a New Age belief system or not.

    And my name's Kaitlin ;)

    Dear Cantchangeme,
I see that you as well as many others like the reader above are of an intellectual “high”, and I could not be happier of the comments I received.

    Sincerely,

    Dear Kaitlin,
As far as a religious speciation yes I believe in the Christ, but as far a new age belief system, it would appear to me this is an observation made in the midst of many who don't see what time and "modern" civilization have come to.

    Sincerely,

"it would appear to me this is an observation made in the midst of many who don't see what time and "modern" have come to."

Elaborate upon this, if you don't mind.

    Dear Kaitlin,
In my mind it is not such an observation made for the point of a Christian, but more of a observation made by a single inhabitant of this world, although many live along side of me. Although I must admit surely there were some before me who also stated this.

    Hmmm, alright.

Well, in my humble opinion humanity is its own creator and manifestor, meaning we will ultimately be our own downfall.
