Hey guys. This boy at my school died last night due to an automobile accident. Needless to say, he and his friend were both drunk, and not over the age of sixteen. The one who was driving was going really fast around a shoulder and ended up flipping his car about six times. One of the boys was thrown through the windsheild and into the river down below, and killed instantly. I knew who he was, and I am depressed, but not nearly as bad as many of the people at school. A lot of them thought of him as his brother. The other boy has a few broken bones and some staples in his head. I just wanted to tell you that even though you may think that stuff like this never really happens or it won't happen to you, think again. And please, please, please; DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!! |

I know, a drink driver killed my auntie. Oh and my dad's friend died in exactly the same way as you described above, it does happen. Unfortunately I don't think posting 'DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE' is going to stop a lot of the drink drivers, although it might help create awareness. Xxx |

March 5th almost the same thing happened to two boys at my old high school. They both died though. It was sad because so many people had driven past the accident and never thought anything of it till the phone calls all started late that night, and all the next day. It was so sad. One was a hockey player, the other played golf..I'm not sure if he played anything else but the one boy who was driving died about 2-3 days before his birthday. It was sad. We had his wake and funeral the day after and his friend that was killed had his on the day of his birthday. |
