Why do YOU cut?

I was wondering...if you are a cutter...why? i know there are alot of different reasons why people do it, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me their specific reason. I am a cutter, but im exactly sure why.

I cut to relase my emotions of my f***ed up life. And because I feel that it is the only pain in my life i am able to control! its addictive and its a release from the world for me.....idk why else...

honestly....i love to see my blood...it's an addiction to me now. i used to cut to release stress but now...it's more to see my created art.

i cut because i feel like nobody cares what i do, or how i feel, so i cut myself to see me suffer. i feel like i shouldnt care about myself because quite franctly, nobody else does.

I cut because it's my way to release my pain...When I see my blood I get high and I feel like all of my pain is gone!!! My life is fucked up, so I cut....

You cut yourself and cause MORE pain to release pain? How does that work? I don't get it. It just doesn't make any sense.

Cutting makes you stronger? How in the hell? You have NO clue what you are talking about. That is the stupiest freaking thing I have ever heard in my life. It's not a way of dealing with problems, it creates MORE problems you dummy. It makes you weaker than the rest of the world.

If I say something that pushes someone over the edge on the internet then their problems were too damn serious to be fixed anyway. I cut because the scars are my badges. They signify the pain I go through for other people. Emotional scars are always hidden, but these scars can be seen by all. I did this for you, I hope your happy now. Do you see what I would do for you? Now do you believe me when I say I love you.

I cut because...it is my only way of relaseing my emotion...It is an addiction...I can't quit...I have to see myself hurt. It is the only way... I also know how hard it is to die...and that isn't what I want..thats y I cut my upper arm...it gives me the same relief and its safer...

I cut because it relieves my stress and pain at least for a little while. Other reasons why i cut is because a lot of the time my pain turns into numbness and i just want to feel again. There are many reasons and too many to list but i haven't cut for 3 days but i keep on slipping up. It's really hard to quit. Hopefully i answered your post. bye
