Murder, why life is 25years?

my mate got done for murder. well the cops havent actually found the body that he 'murdered' stupid people!! but anyway, hes 21, and got life... he'll be out b4 hes 50! i agree with you, it is stupid.. if they sentance someone for LIFE then it should be for LIFE!!!
But everyone in my town, think he was wrongly convicted.. after all they havent found the body!!
God.. whats the world coming too!
