their is a God He is alive with us right now. He is right beside you all the time. He died for your sins to go to heaven and live with him in his palace. GOD IS REAL!!!!

God became a human to die for us on the cross. In all his time as a human on this Earth, Christ lived perfectly. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit : Three and one, a triune God. Emily was not incorrect... he did die and was raised again in glory. You need to take a closer look at the Bible and it's teachings, and I think you'll find God indeed died as Christ on the cross.

Back to the actual topic. I wasn't raised from birth to believe in God and all he's done for me, either. At thirteen, I really found my faith... and that's exactly what it is, faith. There is no visual, you just have to believe. Just because you can't see the wind doesn't mean it is not there. I'm glad you want to try to believe. I suggest finding a religious influence in your neighborhood... perhaps visit your friend's church to find out more. God is always there and always listening... if you seek his help you shall find it. If you need more help, leave a comment on any poem of mine.
    Good luck and God Bless!

God doesn't exist and the Bible is filled with nothing but bullshit and hypocrites.

Worship God, whatever God that may be, however you believe works for you...

that said, there are also some specifics. Jesus gave "The Lord's Prayer" as the example of how one should pray. There are several versions of this depending on the domination. Don't pay too much attention to the differences. the origin is the same.

Personally, I think trying to believe, simply wanting to believe is all that you really need to do. Actually believing comes later. and when it does it's swift and natural.

I believe in God. I've seen proof of Him in other people. I've seen Heaven on Earth. and as soon as I wanted to believe, it wasn't long before I began to feel like I was a part of it too.

I like believing in God a lot more than when I didn't. The same people around me treat me better now, I'm a better person now.

This post has been posted nine million times already.

But I DO believe in God. I read a story today that actually made my morning better...I will give you the short version. A NONE believer went to a pool in his school at night. There were no lights, (he was a diver by the way) he was on the board getting ready to jump when he looked over and saw his shadow on the wall in the shape of a cross and he knelt down and asked God to accept him and said he was now a believer. A janitor walked in and turned on the light, the pool had been drained for maintenance. Beautiful story, eh? I loved it....And I believe whole heartedly that He is there for all of us that way.
