Actually, some people do commit suicide at the highest point of their lives. My older cousin was at the height of her career, she had a loving husband and a great group of friends. Yet one morning she was found dead from slashing her wrists. There's not always an explanation. I'll admit it though, i have considered it and tried it. But every time i did, it was at low points. But it's not weakness. It's the feeling that there has to be something better than the life your living right now. Don't call it weakness cos if you had ever felt the way i did at those times, i bet most plp wouldn't have been able to stand it. Each time i backed out of it because i wasn't brave enough to go thru with it. It takes a brave person to actually do it. Brave... and stupid! Lotsa luv, Gem xx

I knew a young girl, 15 that my husband's Aunt kept after school, she had looked after her since she was a young child. Her parents had their own life with their drug and alcohol addiction and never had time for her. She was truly the sweetest and just so polite, I guess my husbands Aunt did teach her some values in life. But she felt unloved and spoke of it many times. All she wanted was to be truly loved by the two most important people in her life, her parents. You would have truly never thought that she would have harmed herself, but one morning she didn't go to school and took her dad's gun and pointed to her chest (near her heart) and pulled the trigger. She told one of her friends the day before at school that she just wanted to hurt herself so if her parent's loved her they would show it. Her friend had no idea that she was going to do this. She lived long enough to call 911 and told what she had done and wanted help. Bless her heart I think of her all the time. So I guess some just can't deal with being unloved, so many of us loved her and showed her, but she still longed for her parent's love. Always remember, Someone always truly loves you and I hate to see anyone do things like this, especially the younger generation. This incident with Jennifer surely hurt me and so many others that loved her. So if things like this cross your mind please get help. You truly have so much to live for.

You are totally right Chris. I personally think that suicide is the weakest and most selfish thing anyone could do. I believe there is NEVER an excuse for it. When life kicks you to the ground pick yourself up and keep going. Don't be a punk and just lay there. Really. Or better yet, when life pushes you to your knees, you are in the perfect position to pray.

Well regardless, if it's stupid, selfish or what-ever, it's a sad thing to me. Some people just can't deal with some situations that happens in their life. Therefore they lose control and the pain over takes them. It's truly sad and I hate that this happens to so many. It breaks my heart that's for sure.

Some people can't take the pressure, things get so bad u feel like there is no other answer, you don't want to be this dpressed and the only way out of it is to kill yourself, I'm not saying that that is the right anser, but that's just how they feel. Like nobody loves them, their existence doesn't matter, and if their existence doesn't matter, and they feel horrible and like there is no way out of this mess, then killing yourself puts you in a better place and seperates you from your problems. I think it's better to prove that your stronger, and to keep on going, and just to convince yourself that it wil get better, and that people do care about you, suicide is tempting because it's the easy way out, you don't have to deal with anything else, no pain, no unhappiness, but then again, no joy, no love, and no happiness. It just depends on how someone handles their problems, some people see that suicide is the way, and some people see that working through it is the way.
