Don't let him out of your sight. I doubt he'll kill himself in front of you.

Dont keep your eye on him 24/7 he will get very annoyed. I know it will be for his safety, but just say to him that you love him so much, and dont want him to go. I know this sounds bad but its worked twice with me. Make him feel a little guilty if he does it. You dont have to, its just an idea, and its worked for me and my friends.
God will watch him. It isnt his time to go yet!!
