PLEASE HELP ME!!

I really like this guy and we flirt ALL the time and today I accidentally said “you’re hot” and then he told me I was hot… he has a great personality and I like him so much and everyone asks me if I’m going out with him because we act like a couple. We are always together and we tell each other things and just act like a couple I guess… anyway, my friend is going to try to hook me up with him because I wont ask him out. I have a huge fear of rejection and she told me that by the end of Friday, “I’ll have a boyfriend”. I don’t WANT her to hook me up with him or I should say TRY to, because he’ll most likely say no. Am I being irrational to fear rejection so much? I’m just afraid of being let down and if he says no, I don’t want it to be awkward… what should I do??

yeah. That happened to me too. A guy told me he like me like two years ago. We kinda stayed friends until this year when we started hanging out a lot. My friend and I both like him. But he liked me. It was hard but she hooked us up. I don't regret letting her do that...

everyone is afraid of rejection, even guys so u shouldn't feel ashamed about it, seriously. I used to be so afraid that this guy, lets just call him ben, well that ben would reject me, and i liked him alot. the same thing happend with me, everyone thought we were a couple b/c we were always together and i think some people are still confused, lol. my friends made it so obvious and said that they would hook us up too. well, one day i found out he was moving out of state, and i freaked out. i knew i had to do something, and so a couple days later like a week before he moved i finally said something about it. i admit it was really akward and i was so scared b/c i thought he just liked me as a friend. well it turned out that he had liked me for about the same amount of time i liked him, and it was really sad because nothing could happen between us because he was about to leave. the point is, i regret that everyday now, that i should have said something sooner. u have nothing to loose trust me, and ur time might be running out so just go for it honey!

Hey. I appreciate everyone’s comments so much. I realized that this is a common issue and I should go for it…well, today at school, I avoided him completely until lunch. Then I asked him what my friend said and he shrugged. I said “well, she wasn’t supposed to say that.” And he was really pissed about some stuff and I popped him out of that mood and we started talking and he got some phone call last night by a private number and the person kept saying “you wanna go out with Lauren.” Then they hung up…but we’re not going out and I’m not going to push it any further…if he likes me that way, he can ask me out… he usually doesn’t have a problem asking girls out, so I guess I’m either out of my league, or its only a friendship-based relationship…..sadly.

TODAY HE ASKED ME OUT!!

Talk to him. You know he already has feelings for you so tell him you like him and tell him if he like you back he needs to ask you out. The worst thing that can happen is he say...i don't like u that way and that jsut means the two of you aren't meant to be. I have a good feeling that this will work out so just talk to him....
