Who Agrees?

i kind of agree with you. one of my friends started cutting because she saw it on a tv show.and another friend of mine did it because she knew i was doing it. you never know who does it for attention...but then again it depends on your personality and what your real addictions are.

Agree... Though some people are genuine about it.. It's the poeple that show off the cuts, or scars that are just following a trend... And i show no sympathy to people like that.

I agree with you. A lot of people start cutting just because someone else does it. But me... I'm not cutting as a trend. My best friend cut herself and I cut myself and neither of us knew about the other cutting. I never started cutting from seeing it on TV, or hearing that someone else is doing it. I just happened to do it one day.

So it probably depends on the person, but I do agree with you. Cutting is becoming a trend, and it needs to stop.

Acctually it's not that more and more people are cutting themselves, it's just that more and more people are becoming aware of it. How can you even ask if it is becoming a trend. That's like asking if drugs or alcohol is becoming a trend. You're pathetic.... if you knew anything about cutting or cutters you wouldn't even need to post that and get an answer because cutting (for most people) is not to get attention. I don't go off and show my cuts to everyone. I don't do it for attention. But why am i even fighting with you because you don't understand and you never will so....

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU KNOW. i am a cutter, i do know cutters and it is all a coping mechanism that a lot of people like you just don't understand. And you won't because you have a closed mind. Look maybe if you read a book on it then you just might understand a little part of it but in all reality if you don't cut yourself then you won't understand why we do it. ok

Acctually i do know how it is to have people really dear to me cutting and the reason i thought it was painful to myself is because i didn't understand then because i wasn't a cutter...back then i didn't understand why she did that....but now i do and for your information i am not telling people what to cut with. How am i harming myself over trivial things. you have no ideas why i cut so don't say i do it because of trivial things. Oh really what harm have i produced into society...

I don't have to explain myself to you... you can think whatever you want about cutters your mind is obviously made up and u will never understand what i or anybody else like me does. I'm not saying that you have to understand me because you obviously won't so whats the point anymore. Acctually i don't think this discussion is over it will never ever be over in a million years because every generation there will be cutters and idiots like you. I have thought and i do know the answers to my problems. Sadly, I also agree, it's a god damn shame that kids today are into this 'trend'. Wish they'd stop, they just want attention and popularity I guess...

I agree because you hear more about cutting than taking pills. Myself , and my friend Kelsey cuts , but it wasn't cause a trend it just seemed like a better method but yea I do agree.

Cut for 'real' reasons? That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. There is no real reason. Is there 'real' reasons to smoke crack? How about murder, or abuse children? NO, I didn't think so. Shut up...It's stupid! Period. End of conversation.
