Okay... this is a serious post. I don't want any stupid arguements starting here. My best friend commited suicide a couple months ago by slitting her wrists. After she died... her little sister (12 years old) began to cut too. She just recently sent me this poem saying how she wants to be just like her sister and die with the same knife. It was basically like a suicide note. She knows that I cut as well and that I have attempted suicide so she feels comfortable telling me, and I think she's turning to me for help. The only problem is, I don't know how to help her.

PLEASE... give me advice on how I can help her without making her more upset! I don't want her to end up like her sister (R.I.P. Danielle)

Please answer back with some advice...

This sounds like something that I experienced like 2 years ago...Yet I don't know how to help...explain to the girl that she needs to look at how bad it hurt everyone when her sister left...and explain that all killing her self will do is cause more pain...Suicide is a perment solution to a temporary problem...sorry not much help

Aw honey I'm so sorry. Look, you really need to talk to her parents about this. I know it'll be hard...after all, she did confide in you...but this is her life sweetie...you need to help her. Talk to her parents immediately. They need to know. Don't let them lose both their little girls. Help her to live, help her before it's too late.

And I agree with a post listed earlier...take her out of her current surroundings. I know that when I get really really depressed, I usually go to West Virginia or North Carolina (I'm sure you can't do that, but go into the country) and I'm almost instantly cured. Something about nature, at least for me, is calming and helps me a lot. Everything is more peaceful and orderly, quieter. It's usually what I need to do to get better....maybe it'll help her too.
