what is the difference between good art/poetry and bad??

    Well, I'd say good poetry has a flow. It attracts the attention of people and really makes them want to read it. Different people may view poetry differently, so when you say something's bad, that's just your opinion. This is just my opinion on it.

    Well, first and foremost I think it's how the writer views their own poetry. Afterall, most people write for themselves (to heal, understand, remember....etc.) and they write because they want to. I, for example, never write for others, I write only for myself.

    Yes, good poetry does need flow. Actually, even when the words of the poem don't attract but the flow is wonderful, I'll read through the poem just because it's nice to read something that flows well. A lot of people think that poems are all about words, but in my opinion the flow is even more important. Also, it's important that the poem has an interesting subject and portrays it well.

    Sometimes you can not tell if a poem have been written with a lot of "heart and soul", so I don't think that's what a good poem needs.
    I think a good poem needs to flow, and different people's opinions differ to what the traits of a flowing poem is...
